About eBituaries

eBituaries was created for two purposes:

• To provide a forum for you to write full-length tributes, accompanied by photographs, to those people who have died whom you would like to remember. Most old-media obituaries are pretty short and terse, for one main reason. Publishers charge by the column-inch, and an obituary of any reasonable length is prohibitively expensive. We seek to overcome that drawback by providing free, unlimited webspace and up to 8 captioned photographs for you to memorialize your loved ones.
• To create a permanent archive of eBituaries, available to all, in which the histories of many, many individuals, both great and small, will be recorded.
